Surviving 2006

There is an old saying in Chinese, when translated...
If you can survive through a disaster, you are destined to enjoy prosperity which follows.
Hence, I think 2007 is gonna be a fantastic year for me.

Bangkok has always been a big bang for me (pun intended), but I'd never thought my life would be at risk by spending my New Year there...
I survived not one, not two, not three, but four...
four bombs to be exact.
One was near the hotel which I stayed
Two were near the place I was walking, shopping, and eating
And the last was in a toilet of the building I was standing in front of waiting for a cab

The peculiar thing was that none of the people around me seem to be flustered or scared...
I wasn't but it was primarily due to the lack of knowledge of the bombings till my friend called and texted me to check my safety...
The tourists in Bangkok, like me, seemed oblivious to the bombings as I guessed the only Thai that we all spoke were the names of the places of interests (Chaktuchak rocks!)
However, the locals there were nonchalant, which was kinda alarming as it appeared that either it is an everyday thing for them or that life is cheap...

Anyway, since Joe Black kindly skipped my name in his to-do list this time round, I promise to live my life more...
hmm... my very own to-do list (ah! my New Year's resolution) includes:
Have hot steamy passionate sex more often
Spend less time at work and more time with family and friends
Have hot steamy passionate sex more often
Play more with my new "best friend" - Playstation 2 (France, if you are reading this, you are still my niggar, my whiteboy, my BRUDDER... hehe...)
Have hot steamy passionate sex more often
Fly Singapore Airline and enjoy all the complimentarty movies, food, and wine
Drink less, F*ck More, and Be Happy

Goodbye 2006 and Hello 2007
